SPECIAL EVENTS

Free Shopping Days are held about every 3 months at each Closet location. These events are open to anyone who needs a little help while in financial crisis.

We feel it is important for our shoppers to have a choice on the items they take home so we give our guests “Closet Dollars”. The amount they receive is based on the number of people in their family. For more information, visit HOW FREE SHOPPING DAYS WORK.

DO I QUALIFY?

If you are under financial strain and feel that receiving free clothing from The Closet Ministry will help lift your burden, you are welcome to join us for our Free Shopping Days. These days are open events and you do not need a special invitation or an appointment to attend.

Occasionally, The Closet Minsitry locations hold “by referral only” events.  These events require a special invitation or an appointment.  Your school counselor, pastor, other church staff member, or your social worker may contact The Closet to request an invitation.  We will also take referrals from other ministries or organizations such as The American Red Cross.

In addition to our “by referral only” events, we are here to help if you need immediate assistance.  Under these circumstances, referrals through your church, school or social worker will be accepted.

VOLUNTEER FOR AN EVENT

The Closet Ministry is run completely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We love what we do and we invite you to join us! Whether you have a small amount of time to give or you can spare several hours, your help is always welcome.
