We must remember that there are times we need someone to forgive us. We may have unintentionally or maybe even intentionally said or done something that has caused someone anger, simply hurt their feelings or maybe made them feel sad. Why would we think we deserve forgiveness if we aren’t willing to forgive?

Jesus showed us the ultimate example of forgiveness when he said “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” I want to follow my Saviour’s example. How about you?

Lana,
What an encouraging message! As simple as it seems, reading that our unchanging God is always there gives me hope. Epecially during the storms, but also reminded during good times (change) that He is always there loving us more completely than anyone ever could.
I know it must have been hard for you to turn the closet over to others, but to see how you made a part of God’s plan reality is very exciting.
Keep up the great work and I am so glad God put you in my path and that we have been able to reconnect after all these years.

Lana,
You definitely hit that one out of the ball park! Why is it so hard for women to say NO? We say no to ourselves constantly but turn around and say yes to someone else. The worst part is we teach our daughters the same bad habit. I know we are wired to nurture and “fix” things but who is going to fix us when we finally run out of steam? Thanks for sharing Lana, at least I know I am not alone.

Steve was sweating and sorting for Jesus! I seen him do a few other things ( like getting a paper air plane un-stuck from the celing ). He was very quiet. Saturday afternoon I walked to the back with my huge container of hangers and he just looked up and smiled. No ugggghhhh (as I most likely would have said). I hope also that Steve was blessed by The Closet and that we will see him agian.

As this has been our ‘warm up’ year S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G is very important. It prepares our muscles to do the extra work that they are being called to do. It gets the body ready for the work out that is to come without injury.
It’s exciting to know that God has been doing some amazing preparation work at The Closet, , Our heart rate is up, our musles are stretched, we have warmed up!

Lord, Keep us in tune to your work out music, may our heart rate stay in the ‘healthy zone’ and our bodies move together ‘as one’.Our eyes stay on You our instructor so that each step we take is instep with you.

Proverbs 3 v 5&6 (Amplified)

Lean ON, trust IN, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
IN ALL your ways know, recognize and acknowledge Him and He WILL direct and make straight and plain your paths.

Lord, We lean on and trust in and are confident in You. We do not rely on our own insight or understanding in our lives and at The Closet. We recognize and acknowledge You and we thank you that You are making our path before us straight and plain. AMEN

The Lord of the Harvest has a variety of jobs He wants us to do in HIS harvest field. We are not all called to do the heavy work. Some he asks to be like Ruth and follow the workers picking up what the big guys were leaving behind and look how her life changed!. Maybe, He is calling you to be there to do an act of kindness to one person or maybe bring a smile to a tearful child. Maybe you guys need to come along and give a strong hand shake or pat on the back to a father who is struggling to provide for his family. Teens come along and help other teens. There is a job for everyone. . If YOU are looking for a place to belong in an amazing part of the Southbrook family then this is a great place to come and hang your hat. Remember the saying laugh and the world laughs with you! Well, God gives us lots to laugh about as we work in His harvest field we call THE CLOSET. Give us a try.
